# What is the 3D Workshop?
In the 3D Workshop students can work with wood, cardboard and a whole range of plastics. The area is fully equipped with
**[Laser Cutters](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/books/laser-cutting?shelf=11)**,
a **[CNC Router](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/books/cnc-routing?shelf=9)**,
**[3D Printers](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/books/3d-printing)**
and **[3D Scanner](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/books/3d-scanning)**,
**[Woodwork Machines](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/shelves/2-woodwork)**
and many hand tools so you have everything you need to manipulate these materials.

We also have a **[plastics room](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/shelves/3-plastics)** where you can vacuum form plastics, cut polystyrene and bend rigid plastics. The space also includes a [**Spray Booth**](https://3dworkshoplcc.arts.ac.uk/books/spray-booth) where you can apply spray paints and glues.
