How do I access the 3D workshop?

To work in the 3D workshop you must book a workbench via the ORB.

• These bookings are available in 3 hour slots.

  • 10am - 1pm
  • 2pm - 5pm

• We will only be accepting booked appointments to ensure a safe student to technican ratio.

• Students must have completed the online H&S Induction before booking this area. The Orb will prompt you to complete this induction and pass a quiz before allowing you to book. If you have not completed an induction and booked a slot, you will not be able to access the workshop when you arrive. The induction pops up the first time you book a bench on the ORB

For Laser cutting, Vinyl Cutting and 3D Printing students book a time slot on the ORB and attend with their files ready for the machine. For more information on booking these machines please refer to their specific pages on this website.
